Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MealPrepAI mobile application ("App") and related services provided by MealPrepAI, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

To use MealPrepAI, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws

If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4.1 Free and Premium Tiers: MealPrepAI offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Free users have access to limited features. Premium subscribers have access to all features as described on our pricing page.

4.2 Billing: Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms of service and payment terms.

4.3 Free Trials: We may offer free trials of premium features. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription plan you selected.

4.4 Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your iPhone's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

4.5 Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not directly process refunds.

4.6 Price Changes: We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period but will apply to renewals.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes on others' rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App or its content

6.1 Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you submit, including photos, custom recipes, and reviews. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content to provide our services.

6.2 Content Guidelines: You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate these Terms or any applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our guidelines.

6.3 Feedback: Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used by us without compensation or credit to you.

The App, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.

MealPrepAI, our logo, and other marks are trademarks of MealPrepAI, Inc. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.

8.1 No Medical Advice: MealPrepAI provides recipe suggestions and nutritional information for informational purposes only. This is not medical or dietary advice. Consult a healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes.

8.2 Allergy Disclaimer: While we strive to accurately identify ingredients and filter recipes based on your dietary restrictions, we cannot guarantee that all allergens will be detected or that recipes are safe for your specific needs. Always verify ingredients before cooking.

8.3 AI Accuracy: Our AI ingredient detection is highly accurate but not perfect. You should verify detected ingredients, especially for items with allergies or dietary restrictions.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEALPREPAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MealPrepAI, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the App settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in San Francisco County, California.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
